WTOV is looking for a Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) to join the #1 News Leader in Wheeling WV/Steubenville OH! Responsibilities: • Research, shoot, write and edit daily content for various platforms in a manner that is clear and engaging to news consumers• Enterprise story ideas and develop contacts to generate interesting and relatable stories
Valuable Skills: • Sharp news judgment• Solid writing & technical skills• Good communication skills• Social Media expertise• Ability to think critically, problem solve, and work well independently
Experience: • Experience with live shots is required; experience with Live-U is a plus• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a good driving record• A minimum of 1 year of reporting experience is preferred, but recent college graduates will be considered
